(1)This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Lokayukta [xxx] [The words 'and Upa-Lokayukta' omitted by Act No. 1 of 2007 w.e.f. 28.2.2007.] Act, 1983.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Andhra Pradesh.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, appoint.
