7. Recruitment.
(a)Posts falling under category A shall be filled up either by promotion from category B or by direct recruitment or on consolidated pay basis. The ratio between direct recruitment and promotion shall be 1:6.(b)Posts falling under category B shall be filled up either by promotion or by direct recruitment or on consolidated basis. The ratio between direct recruitment and promotion shall be 1:6.For the direct recruitment posts in category B, the age at entry, communal rotation and reservation will be as applicable to Government servants. For promotion, there will not be any age restriction except otherwise prescribed.
