[ Liability of licensee for shortage and excess in goods deposited. - The licensee shall be liable to pay compensation to the depositor for any loss sustained by him by reason of the goods having lost weight or bulk in excess of the limits fixed by the Licensing Officer owing to shrinkage or driage or by reason of deterioration of the quality in goods owing to their having gained weight or bulk, in excess of the limits fixed by the Licensing Officer, by the absorption of moisture.] [Substituted by Notification No. AA-1149/12 (5)-700 (14)-72, dated 9th February, 1973 vide U.P.
