79. Execution of work.
(1)Every officer in charge of a work shall ensure that works is carried out according to approval estimate. While executing works instructions given in Chapter 9 of the Orissa General Financial Rules, Volume-I shall be followed unless they are inconsistent with these rules.(2)The Assistant Engineer shall supervise not less than 10% of the total number of works, the estimates of which have been prepared by the Junior Engineer working under his technical control.
