Section 42 in Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994
42. Appointment of Joint Committee.
- A Gram Panchayat may, and if so required by the Government shall, join with one, or more than one, other local authority in constituting a joint committee for any purpose in which they are interested or for any matter for which they are jointly interested or for any matter for which they are jointly responsible. The composition, powers and functions and other incidental and consequential matters shall be such as may be prescribed.
