44. Sale of Insurance Online.
(1)Insurance brokers may enter into an agreement with insurers for sale of insurance products online by linking to the web portals of the insurers.(2)The sale of insurance online by Insurance Brokers shall be as per IRDAI (Insurance Web Aggregators) Regulations, 2017 and Guidelines on Insurance e-commerce issued by the Authority in so far as they are applicable.
