Section 55(4) in The Goa, Daman and Diu Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Rules, 1975
(4)The number of Examiners shall be appointed in accordance with the requirement as against the schedule of assessment and total number of answer books in a subject and shall be as per the norms laid down by the Board,-(a)When the total number of Examiners in a subject is less than four but more than one, the senior most among them shall be appointed as Senior Examiner.(b)When the number of Examiners to be appointed in a subject is only one, he/she shall be appointed as an Associate Examiner.
