6. Collector to arrange for election.
(1)As soon as an area is notified under sub-section (1) of Section 2-B, the Collector of the District shall arrange for the election of the representatives of cotton growers and/or the owners of factories in the manner hereinafter prescribed.(2)The representative of cotton growers or of owners of factories in any local area notified under sub-section (1) of Section 2-B shall be elected or selected, as the case may be, on or before the 1st June, following the date of the notification.
