Section 20(1) in The Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (C.G.) Adhiniyam, 1987
(1)There shall be Deans and Directors of Research Services and Directors of Extension Services who shall be whole time salaried officers of the University and appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the prior approval of the Board in accordance with the Statutes made in his behalf.
