20. Deans and Directors.
(1)There shall be Deans and Directors of Research Services and Directors of Extension Services who shall be whole time salaried officers of the University and appointed by the Vice-Chancellor with the prior approval of the Board in accordance with the Statutes made in his behalf.(2)The emoluments and conditions of service of the officers appointed under sub-section (1) shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes.(3)The Deans and Directors shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be conferred or imposed on them by the Statutes.
