Section 10(xv) in The Rules for the Working and Management of Prison Welfare Services in the Jails, 1985
(xv)to attend to such other work pertaining to the welfare and rehabilitation of prisoners as may be assigned to him from time to time by the Superintendent or the Inspector-General of Prisons.
