Section 11(3)(c) in The Assam Factories Service Rules, 1990

(c)For promotion to the post of Senior Inspector of Factories, an officer shall have to render at least 8 years of qualifying service in the cadre of Inspector of Factories and shall possess such academic qualification as is prescribed under Rule 8.
