Section 80(1) in Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1961
(1)Where a local authority which is a Planning Authority under this Act, is dissolved or superseded under the law governing its constitution, the person or persons appointed under such law to exercise the powers and perform the duties of such local authority shall be deemed to be the local authority within the meaning of clause (5) of section 2 of this Act, and may exercise all the powers and perform all the duties of a Planning Authority under this Act, during the period of dissolution or supersession of such local authority.
