24. Academic Council
(1)The Academic Council of the University shall consist of;the Vice-Chancellor, who shall be the Chairperson of the AcademicCouncil;two academicians or professionals, to be nominated by the Board;two academicians or professionals in the field of forensic science, to be nominated by the Board;the Director of Research and Development;the Directors of the University;one professor from each discipline of the University, by rotation, to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.(2)The Registrar shall be the Secretary of the Academic Council.(3)The term of office of the members nominated under clauses (ii), (iii) and (vi) of sub-section (1) shall be of three years.
