(2)Without prejudice to the generality of its powers under sub-section (1), the Board may make regulations regarding the following matters, namely:-(a)the terms and conditions including charges for supply of water;(b)compensation to be paid to owner or occupier of land for damage caused due to laying of water mains, sewers or service pipes or drains in any street by the Board;(c)requirements to be complied with by a person desiring supply of water;(d)use, installation fees and rent to be paid for use, maintenance and testing of meters;(e)cutting off water supply to a premises and charging expenses therefor;(f)installation of booster pump and sinking of well, tube well or hand pump;(g)laying of a pipe or drain across the property of any person;(h)recovering the cost of execution of a work executed by the Board from a person who is liable to execute the said work but fails to do so;(i)erecting upon a premises a shaft or pipe;(j)terms and conditions for connecting a private drain to a public drain;(k)licensing and control of plumbers;(l)prescribing the fee and charges to be levied by the Board for various purposes under the Act and recovery thereof;(m)terms and conditions of service of officers and employees of the Board.
