Section 31(5) in Kerala District Administration Act, 1979
(5)Every member of the district council other than the President and the Vice-President shall be entitled to receive -(a)travelling and daily allowances at such rates as First Class Officers of the Government shall be entitled to from time to time for attending the meetings of the district council or of any committee thereof; and(b)a sitting fee of twenty-five rupees per day tor attending the meetings of the district council or of any committee thereof.Employees
