9. Settlement and survey officers.
- The officers specified in clauses (b), (d), (e), (f) and (g) of section 4 shall have power to take cognisance of all matters connected with the survey of land and the settlement of land revenue rates and the preparation and maintenance of land records and other registers and shall exercise all such powers and perform all such duties as may be prescribed.
