Section 28(3) in The First Statutes of the National Institutes of Technology
(3)For making such appointments, the Chairperson, Board of Governors shall constitute such adhoc Selection Committee, as the circumstances of each case may require:Provided that such constitution of committee shall be reported to the Board for confirmation.
