Section 23 in The U.P. Water Management And Regulatory Commission Act, 2008
23. Cognizance of offences. -
(1)No Court shall take cognizance of any offence under this Act except on a complaint in writing of an officer authorized in this behalf by the Commission.(2)An offence under this Act shall be triable by a Court not lower in rank than that of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate having jurisdiction.
