Section 126(2) in Goa Building and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008
(2)Duties and responsibilities of the responsible person referred to in sub-rule (1) shall include, -(a)to carry out smoothly such excavation or tunnelling work;(b)to inspect and rectify any hazardous situation relating to such excavation or tunnelling work;(c)to take remedial measures to avoid any unsafe practice or conditions relating to such excavation or tunnelling work;
