Section 53 in Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 2007
53. Presiding Officer of a meeting of Municipality.
(1)The Chief Councillor shall preside at every meeting of the Municipality:Provided that when a meeting is held to consider a motion for the removal of the Chief Councillor, the Chief Councillor shall not preside at such meeting.(2)The Chief Councillor, or the person presiding over a meeting of the Municipality, shall also have, and may exercise, a casting vote in all cases of equality of votes.
