Section 53(1) in Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 2007

(1)The Chief Councillor shall preside at every meeting of the Municipality:Provided that when a meeting is held to consider a motion for the removal of the Chief Councillor, the Chief Councillor shall not preside at such meeting.
