Section 32(a) in The Assam Cinemas (Regulation) Rules, 1960
(a)A clear passage or gangway shall be formed at the sides and down the centre of the seating in every part of the auditorium in such manner that no seat shall be ten or more feet distant from a passages or gangway measured in the line of seating.
