Section 8(3) in The Orissa Motor Vehicles (Producer of Gas) Rules, 1993
(3)If an escape funnel be fitted to any generator for use during the blowing of air through the generator the mouth of the funnel shall be above the root level of the vehicle measured externally. A suitable valve or flame trap shall be fitted to the air inlet of all types of generator to prevent danger from blowback.
