- Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Senate shall perform the following functions(a)of making Statutes, and of amending and repealing Statutes, subject to confirmation by the Chancellor;(b)of considering and cancelling Ordinances; and(c)of considering and passing resolutions on the annual report, the annual accounts and the financial estimates; and shall. perform such other functions as may be defined by this Act or the Statutes.
