Section 118 in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955
118. Commissioner and subject to his revision and to such conditions and limitations, if any, as he may think fit to impose.
(1)Any powers, duties and functions conferred or imposed upon or vested in the Corporation by any other law for the time being in force shall, subject to the provisions of such law and to such restrictions, limitations and conditions as the Corporation may impose, be exercised, performed or discharged by the Commissioner.(2)The Commissioner may, with the approval of the Standing Committee by order in writing, empower any municipal officer to exercise, perform or discharge any such power, duty or function under the control of the Commissioner to exercise powers and perform duties of Corporation under other law.
