Section 16 in The Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya Act, 2007
16. Academic Council.
(1)The Academic Council of the University shall consist of the following members, namely:-(i)the Director of the University, who shall be the Chairman of the Academic Council;(ii)two academicians or professionals, to be nominated by the Board;(iii)two external academicians or professionals in the fields of education imparting by the University, to be nominated by the Director;(iv)two deans, by rotation to be nominated by the Director, and(v)one Professor from each discipline of the University, by rotation to be nominated by the Director.(2)The Registrar shall be the Secretary of the Council,(3)The term of office of the members shall be three years.
