Section 5(1) in The National Tiger Conservation Authority (Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Officers and other Employees) Rules, 2007
(1)Officers holding posts in the Project Tiger under the Ministry of Environment and Forests, immediately before commencement of these rules on a regular basis, shall be deemed to have been appointed in accordance with the provisions of these rules.
