Section 388 in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964
388. Payment of Uniform Allowance.
(1)Applications for uniform allowance shall be made by officers on contingent bills to the Registrar of Reserves together with an undertaking, in writing, that they will spend the entire amount in providing themselves with uniform.(2)Payment of uniform allowance shall be made by the Controller of Defence Accounts (Navy) on the authority of Registrar of Reserves.
