Section 18(1) in Unique Identification Authority of India (Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Employees) Regulations, 2020
(1)The employees of the Authority, other than those on deputation, shall be eligible for benefit of gratuity under Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 (39 of 1972), as amended from time to time in the event of:(a)retirement;(b)death;(c)disablement rendering him unfit for further service as certified by the medical officer appointed by the Authority;(d)resignation after completing five years of continuous service; or(e)termination of service in any other way (except by way of punishment) after completion of five years of service.
