Section 8 in The U.P. Subordinate Excise (Audit and Accounts) Service Rules, 1992

8. Academic qualification.

(1)A candidate for direct recruitment to the various posts in the Service must possess the following qualifications :
  Post Qualification
1. Assistant Accountant A Bachelors degree in Commerce with Accountancy of aUniversity established by law in India or a Post GraduateDiploma in Accountancy.
2. Junior Auditor A Bachelors degree in Commerce with Audit or Accountancy of aUniversity established by law in India.
