24. Powers and duties of Council.
- Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Council shall exercise the following powers and perform the following duties :-(i)to act as an advisory body in all matters relating to agricultural university;(ii)to review broad policies and programmes of the agricultural universities and to suggest measures for the improvement and development of such University;(iii)to act as a co-ordinating body between agricultural universities established in the State by law;(iv)to exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be notified by the State Government.
