Section 3L(2) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities Act, 1920
(2)No amendment, transposition or deletion of any entry in the electoral roll of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly made after the last date for making nominations for elections in any [Third Grade Municipality] [Substituted for the word 'Town Panchayat' by the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 2004 (Tamil Nadu Act 24 of 2004)] and before the notification of the result of such election, shall form part of the electoral roll for such election, for the purposes of this section.
