Section 2(a) in Rajasthan Rural Development and Panchayati Raj State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1998
(a)"Appointing Authority" in respect of the State Service or post means the Government and in respect of Subordinate Service or post means the Director, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department;
