(3)(i)Each Faculty shall elect at its meetings, one academic staff member other than the Head of the Department from amongst its members, in the prescribed manner. The person so elected snail become a member of the Academic Council from the date of his election.(ii)The members elected by the Faculties shall hold office so long as they are members of the said Faculties or for three years whichever is lesser.
