Section 55(1) in Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016
(1)There shall be a Board of Students' Development to plan and oversee the various cultural and welfare activities of the students in colleges, institutions and university departments. The activities of the Board of Student's Development shall be carried out by the Director of Students' Development.
