Section 45(1) in Indian Institute of Teacher Education, Gujarat Act, 2010
(1)It shall be the duty of the first Vice-Chancellor-(a)to give recognition to institutions, if any, as far as possible consistent with the provisions of the Act; and(b)to make arrangements for constituting the General Council, the Executive Council, the Academic Council and other authorities of the University' within six months after the date of his appointment or such longer period not exceeding one year as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, direct.
