(2)Guards Essential. - Must have passed the High School Examination with Science or Agriculture of the U. P. Board of High School and Intermediate Examination or an examination recognised as equivalent thereto.Preferential. - (1) In the case of recruitment of candidates from open market preference will be given to ex-Home Guards who have worked as such for at least one year.
