Section 7 in The West Bengal Public Libraries Act, 1979
7. Directorate of [Library Services] [Words substituted for the word 'libraries' by W.B. Act 41 of 1994.].
(1)There shall be a ["Directorate of Library Services"] [Words substituted for the words 'Directorate of Libraries' by W.B. Act 8 of 1982.] to be constituted by the Government for the purposes of this Act with such number of officers and employees as may be prescribed.(2)The officers and staff of the [Directorate of Library Services] [Words substituted for the words 'Directorate of Libraries' by W.B. Act 8 of 1982.] shall be wholetime Government employees and the terms and conditions of their services shall be such as may be prescribed.
