Section 26(3) in The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms And Conditions For Tariff Determination From Renewable Energy Sources) Regulations, 2009
(3)For the purpose of classification of wind energy project into particular wind zone class, the State-wise wind power density map prepared by Centre for Wind Energy Technology (C-WET) and enclosed as Schedule to these regulations, shall be considered:Provided that the Commission may by notification in Official Gazette, amend the schedule from time to time, based on the input provided by C-WET/MNRE.
