Section 42(1) in Himachal Pradesh Municipal Election Rules, 2015
(1)Any candidate may withdraw his candidature by notice in writing in form-23 subscribed by him and delivered to the Returning Officer or the authority specified in this behalf under clause (e) of sub-rule (1) of rule 36, before 3 P.M. on the date specified in the said rule, and no person who has thus withdrawn his candidature shall be allowed to cancel the notice of such withdrawal.
