27. Penalty.
(1)Any person who contravenes or violates any other provision except section 16, shall be punished with rigorous imprisonment which may extend upto one year or with a fine which may extend upto one lakh rupees or both.(2)The fine so imposed, may be recovered from the person concerned, as arrears of land revenue.
