Section 2 in The U.P. Electricity (Regulation of Distribution and Consumption) Order, 1977
2. Definitions.
- In this Order, unless the context, otherwise requires,-(a)"Factory" , means a factory as defined in the Factories Act, 1948, but does not include a factory in which no manufacturing process is being or is ordinarily carried on with aid of power;(b)The expression 'Shop and Commercial establishment' have respectively the meaning assigned to them in the Uttar Pradesh Dookan Aur Vanijya Adhisthan Adhiniyam, 1962.
