(6)Spontaneous ignition: - (a) Where materials are likely to induce spontaneous ignition care shall, be taken to avoid formation of air pocket and to ensure adequate ventilation.(b)[ Material susceptible to spontaneous ignition shall be stored in dry condition and in heaps .of such capacity and separated by such passage so as to prevent spontaneous ignition; and(c)material susceptible to spontaneous ignition when stored in the open shall be at a distance not less than 10 metres away from process or storage buildings.]
