4. Functions of the District Level Aquaculture Seed Committee.
- The functions assigned to this Committee under the Act, shall include:(a)Processing of applications for registration and granting of licences to the hatcheries producing aquaculture seed and recommending to the State Level Aquaculture Seed Committee;(b)The District fisheries officer will function as Secretary of the Committee;(c)processing of applications for aquaculture seed certification.
