Section 8(a) in The Assam Secondary Education (Provincialisation) (Service and Conduct) Rules, 1979
(a)The minimum qualification for a Head of the Institution shall be graduation in Science, Arts or Commerce and B.T. with a least 5 years teaching experience ; or graduation in Science, arts or Commerce with at least 15 years teaching experience.
