Section 2(c) in Andhra Pradesh Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions of Engineering/Pharmacy Diploma holders into Under Graduate Professional courses through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2006
(c)"Common Entrance Test" EC El' (FDH)/ECET(FDH)-AC means, the examination conducted for assigning rank on merit to candidates, which will be the basis for admission of the candidates (Engineering/Pharmacy Diploma holders) into First year/Second year, as the case may be, of concerned Under Graduate courses offered in various Professional Institutions offering Engineering (including Technology) and Pharmacy courses in the State as provided in Rule 3 hereunder.
