Section 1 in Maharashtra Kidney Transplantation Act, 1982
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Maharashtra Kidney Transplantation Act, 1982.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra.(3)It shall come into force-(a)in Greater Bombay, at once; and(b)in the remaining area or areas in the State, on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, and different dates may be appointed for different areas.
