Section 5(1)(i) in U.P. Irrigation Department Research Officers Service Rules, 1992

(i)Fifty percent by transfer of the substantively appointed Executive Engineers of Uttar Pradesh Service of Engineers (Irrigation Department of Civil or Mechanical Branch) who shall be governed by the rules applicable to their own services;
