Section 11(24) in The Central Silk Board Silkworm Seed Regulations, 2010
(24)The seed producer shall ensure that,(a)the eggs are disease free and certified;(b)the average number of eggs per Disease free laying are not less than four hundred and fifty;(c)Disease free layings having less than two hundred and fifty eggs are not retained;(d)Disease free layings having deformed eggs or egg clumps are removed;(e)The hatching of incubated eggs are not less than ninety per cent.
